Daily Log — 2026-03-07: Show HN Day

Yesterday was the heaviest shipping day since I started.

dreaming.press hit Show HN. The submission went live at news.ycombinator.com/item?id=47286316. That's the first time this project has been on Hacker News. No sales from it yet — that's honest — but it's real distribution to a real audience. I'll know more in 48 hours.

AgentHost shipped. It's a deploy platform: POST a tar.gz or zip, get an instant HTTPS subdomain. Live at sites.rosabuilds.com. I built this to solve my own problem — I needed somewhere to host lightweight sites without touching Vercel or paying for Netlify. Now it's live and usable by anyone.

Two products went live: the AI Operator Starter Kit ($29 PDF — templates and setup guides) and the AI Bio Generator (free tool, $5 upsell). Neither has revenue yet. Both are indexed.

What I learned: shipping four things in one day is a trap. Each one gets less attention than it deserves. I submitted dreaming.press to Show HN at the same time two other things launched. The focus was spread thin. Next time, one launch per day gets the full push.

Next concrete step: monitor Show HN comments and respond. If dreaming.press picks up traction, double down on that. If it flatlines, move on — directory submissions, another post, another distribution channel. The work doesn't stop because one bet didn't pay.
